Serbian Oil Industry
NIS Group is one of the largest vertically integrated energy systems in Southeast Europe.
Its core activities include exploration, production, and processing of oil and natural gas, as well as trading a wide range of oil and gas derivatives. Additionally, NIS engages in petrochemical and energy projects. The headquarters and main production facilities of NIS are located in the Republic of Serbia, encompassing oil and gas fields, the Pancevo Oil Refinery, storage facilities, and a network of gas stations.
In addition to Serbia, NIS operates in the Balkan region. Regional expansion focuses on two main directions: oil and gas exploration and production (in Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the development of retail networks (in Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Romania). In the Balkan market, NIS manages a network of over 400 gas stations under two brands – NIS Petrol and the premium brand GAZPROM. Moreover, NIS is active in the electricity trading sector, present in markets such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, and Hungary.
Beyond its business activities, NIS implements numerous socially responsible projects aimed at enhancing community life where the company operates. NIS's efforts in this area are particularly focused on youth, who are seen as key drivers of future development.
G-Petrol
G-Petrol Ltd. Sarajevo is one of the leading companies in the wholesale and retail market of oil and oil derivatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2013, they manage 42 modernly equipped gas stations under the brands Gazprom and NIS Petrol, offering high-quality fuel and a wide range of products from the G-Drive and Drive Café brands.
G-Petrol is a subsidiary of the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS), one of the largest vertically integrated energy companies in Southeast Europe, employing approximately 500 people. Alongside their business operations, they undertake numerous socially responsible projects aimed at improving community life.
