Despite negative indicators such as political instability, corruption, lack of enforcement of court decisions, high unemployment and a shortage of skilled labor, the fact is that Bosnia and Herzegovina with its potentials provides sufficient conditions for the successful operation of companies.

Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH in cooperation with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO Wien), Embassy of Japan in BiH and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH organized the visit of the Japanese business delegation to BiH. The aim of the visit was a possibility of development of business relations with Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Foreign Investors Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and, in cooperation with the audit and consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers Sarajevo, organized education on transfer pricing for taxpayers, companies, members of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH and Foreign Investors Council of BiH. Speakers at the press conference were Ms. Medina Dudo from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Ms. Mubera Brkovic, Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Sarajevo. The seminar was attended by over 80 representatives of domestic and foreign companies.

Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton plans to organize "International Business Conference 2016", in Sarajevo, on September 29, 2016. This Conference will bring together most sagnificant economy and finance experts from the country and abroad, as well as representatives of foreign and domestic companies from different sectors of the economy.

Loan of €4.5m to connect households, cut water losses, introduce EU quality standards. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is supporting an upgrade of the water supply network in Visoko, a municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will raise potable water quality to European standards and connect a third of the population to water network, providing 11,500 people with potable running water for the first time.

The largest conference on renewable energy, energy efficiency and the environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina of RENEXPO BiH will be held on 9 and 10 November 2016 at the hotel Hills in Sarajevo.

From now on, TBG BH will supply its customers with superior quality concrete via additional two concrete plants in Rajlovac and Zenica. With this acquisition TBG BH strengthens its leading position in the market of ready-mixed concrete in BiH.

FBiH Employers Association, Union of Independent Trade Unions of BiH, BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, Foreign Investors Council of BiH, FBiH Chamber of Commerce and FIPA today organized a press conference regarding the recent amendments to the Rulebook on the Implementation of the FBiH Income Tax Law.
