The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the 48th IFTDO World Conference €HRD in the Digital Transformation Era’. The Conference will be held at the Hills Hotel from 24 to 26 June 2019.
The International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO) was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1972 in order to develop and maintain a worldwide network committed to the identification, development and transfer of knowledge, skills and technology to enhance personal growth, human performance, productivity and sustainable development.
The Conference is organized by Origin Europe and according to Jasna Korda, who is the Director of Origin Europe, the goal of this Conference is to emphasize the importance of digitalization to companies. Digitalisation has led to an evolution in the work and development of human resources. Digital transformation has a tremendous impact on global companies that still have people as core element.

The Conference will gather over 400 participants from over 50 countries over the course of 3 days. On Day 1, all participants will have the opportunity to partake in workshops about the implementation of digital transformations in companies. Days 2 and 3 will focus on understanding the importance of digital transformation, talented workforce which is necessary for achieving business goals, how to use creative minds and innovative tools for business and how to implement HRD to develop competent and decision-making leaders.
