BFC Business Friendly Network of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina published an open call for local governments from FbiH to participate in the regional program Business Friendly Certification in South East Europe – BFC SEE. The deadline for applications is 15 December 2016. Info day for all interested cities in municipalities from the Federation of BiH will be organized in late November, to present detailed information about the BFC SEE process.

The Business Friendly Certificate has so far been obtained by 11 cities and municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the Federation of FbiH, these include Žepče Tešanj, Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Goražde and Sanski Most, which is currently undergoing the re-certifiction process, as well as the City of Bihać. In the Republic of Srpska, certificate has been awarded to Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Prijedor, Mrkonjić Grad and Teslić.

The open call states that for investors looking to move or expand their business in South East Europe, BFC SEE serves as a standard for evaluating the local business conditions, indicating the local governments in the region with the best investment climate.
