On Thursday, 21 April 2016, representatives of Austrian companies led by Sigmund Nemeti, commercial counselor at the Austrian Embassy in BiH, visited the Kakanj Cement plant
Cement plant for production and technical issues, presented all the main business activities of the Cement Factory Kakanj taken from privatization till now. “Cement is part of the prestigious German group HeidelbergCement, which is very serious about every aspect of doing business in BiH, especially the process of investing in environmental protection. All its obligations factory fulfill to all its partners, employees and institutions. We are very proud of our achievements in the field of environmental protection. Today it is obvious that the Kakanj Cement best example of corporate social responsibility in BiH.” , said Neimarlija during the presentation. “Bosnia and Herzegovina has a great potential for investment, and we are an example that is worth investing in BiH and that the long-term planning can be achieved very good results.”, added Neimarlija.
Sigmund Nemeti thanked to managment board of Kakanj Cement plant as Austrian entrepreneurs allowed to get familiar with the positive side of Kakanj and Bosnia and Herzegovina: “I am very pleased that the representatives of companies from Austria, can show a very positive examples of doing business in BiH. Factory Cement plant is a good example of privatization, good business, and good business partners in general, ” said Nemeti. During the visit representatives of the companies had the opportunity to see the concrete results of of investment and get practical answers to questions pertaining to the implementation process of investing in Kakanj and beyond.
