The Conference was held from 24 – 26 June and was organized by the company Origin Europe, member of the FIC and leading global company for human resource development, managing and organizing events.

IFTDO is a global multi-national and multi-cultural federation of organizations for training and development. It was founded in Geneva in 1972 with the goal of developing and sustaining a global network of organizations committed to the identification, development and transfer of knowledge, skills and technology in order to improve personal growth, human performance, productivity and sustainable development.

Every year, the IFTDO holds a global conference in cooperation with one of its principle members, and this year that member is Origin Europe. Throughout the long and prestigious history of the IFTDO and since its inception, a total of 47 global conferences were held in different parts of the world and this year it was Sarajevo's turn.

The topic of this year's conference was Human Resource Development in the Digital Transformation Era - Empowering Future Leaders. The Conference presented the participants with the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with international speakers and delegates, as well as to network with HR organizations and experts from around the world.

The Conference put special focus on the importance of the effect that digitalisation has on business. Digitalisation has lead to an evolution in the behaviour and development of HR, and has transformed the way employees work together. The Conference presented an ideal platform for the exchange of the best business practices and for networking with key experts from the West Balkan region and other parts of the world.
