On October 22, 2020, the Board of Directors of the FIC (BoD) held its last meeting this year, online. BoD discussed the operational activities of the FIC executive office, current topics related to the new situation caused by the corona virus pandemic, the public promotion of the new “White Book” and “FIC Business Barometer”, as well as plans for next year. The President of the FIC, Branimir Muidža, informed the members of the BoD on the participation and activities of the FIC in resolving issues related to the Public Call for Grants in FBiH intended to address the economic consequences of the corona crisis, where some FIC members were subject to discriminatory treatment because their directors are foreigners who do not have a permanent place of residence in BiH. The members of the BoD also discussed the manner of presenting the new edition of the “White Book”, which has been ready for public publication for a year, but the situation with the coronavirus has postponed its public presentation. The BoD decided that the public presentation of the new White Book, due to the coronavirus situation, would be organized as an online event at the end of February 2021. FIC President also informed BoD that new survey “FIC Business Barometer 2020” will be ready by the end of January 2021, and which will cover almost all members of FIC. The new research will address all major issues in the BiH economy, particularly relevant to foreign investors, and will include very interesting data for governments and the media. President Muidža mentioned that this event will most likely be organized also online at the end of March 2021, which the members of the BoD agreed on.
