Petrol BH Oil Company d.o.o. Sarajevo was founded at the beginning of 1999. It is 100% owned by Petrol d.d., Ljubljana. The main activities are wholesale and retail trade, sales of liquid, gaseous fuels and related products on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Petrol BH Oil Company d.o.o. currently has about 300 employees. In the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Petrol owns 42 gas stations. In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Petrol operates in Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia, with a total of 510 gas stations in the region.

The main business activity of the company is trade in petroleum products, gas and other energy sources. It is a business area in which Petrol generates more than 80 percent of all sales revenues, and also has a leading market share in the Slovenian market. At the same time, Petrol also trades in consumer goods and services, through which it generates slightly less than 20 percent of revenues. An integral part of Petrol’s stations are Hip Shop stores, coffee bars, restaurants and car washes.

In 2019, the company sold 228.2 thousand tons of oil and LPG products, which is 6 percent more than in 2018. Petrol BH Oil Company d.o.o. In 2019, Sarajevo generated EUR 260.2 million in sales revenue, which is 1% less than in 2018, of which EUR 235.0 million was generated from the sale of petroleum products and LPG, and 12, 5 million euros in revenue from the sale of goods.

 

As of December 31, 2019, the company’s capital amounted to EUR 60.4 million.
