Bosnalijek is at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina and exports its products to 18 markets on three continents. Our strength lies in our tradition as a manufacturer of the highest quality medicines and related products that has continued growth, progress and operational excellence in all of our business segments and the success we have achieve on the world market.

Over the past twenty years, we have focused our efforts on strengthening our market position through intensive development of our own production technologies and by modernizing our existing production capacities and building new ones.

Today, we are proud to emphasise that over this period we have invested more than EUR 100 million in the modernisation of our entire business. Thanks to this investment, we are today one of the most important drivers of the economy and one of the largest exporters in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This has also made us one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Southeast Europe.

Last year, we built a new facility for the production of liquid and semi-solid pharmaceutical forms, applying the latest technological solutions, equipment and methods of control over the working environment. The value of this project is EUR 24 million.

Bosnalijek currently employs 864 workers, out of whom:

62 employees with scientific and specialist titles
