About us

Founded in 1995, FRIMECO produces and sells high-quality raw materials primarily used in the brake lining industry. We export to more than 30 countries worldwide. Thanks to the expertise we have gained over many years in both technical and commercial areas, we are able to meet our customers’ requirements in a flexible and highly specific manner.

In 2005, Frimeco North America was established — a corporation responsible for the distribution of all our products across North and Central America.

Since 2007, our subsidiary Frimeco Sarajevo d.o.o. has been operating, specializing in the production of steel fibers and synthetic sulfides.

The production of our metal chips (copper, brass, zinc, aluminum) is carried out by our partner company Cablo in Germany. These metallic flakes are produced through a specially developed process, exclusively for FRIMECO. In addition to our own products, we exclusively distribute friction dust from RESIBRAS/Portugal. Furthermore, FRIMECO cooperates with SOLANA/Italy in the distribution of metallic fibers for selected customers in defined markets.

This highly selective product portfolio enables us to meet customer demands for guaranteed quality standards combined with competitive pricing. To achieve complete customer satisfaction and maintain the highest level of client confidence, we continuously strive for improvement — and that is what we stand for with our name: FRIMECO.

This allows us to achieve and maintain a leadership role in innovation within the raw materials sector for brake production, ensuring long-term competitive advantage based on technology and expertise.
