The FIC efforts made concrete results: Federal Government affirmed the proposal of new Law on amendments to the Law on Enterprises of FBiH.

Law on amendments to the Law on Enterprises of BiH, whose proposal affirmed by Federal government at yesterday's session, represents the realization of obligations from the Memorandum of cooperation signed in Sarajevo on October 7, 2011 between Foreign Investors Council and federal Prime Minister Mr. Niksic with the aim of removing legal barriers and administrative obstacles for investment in the Federation of BiH.

The federal government has recognized the importance of cooperation with Foreign Investors Council, whose current members total investment value exceeding 8 billion EUR and employ over 12,000 BH citizens. Signing the Memorandum of cooperation Federal government has committed to consider 67 recommendations from the document "White book 2010/11", which suggest to relevant authorities priority reforms to eliminate key obstacles for investment.

During the previous debate on the draft law, both houses of Federal parliament concluded that offered text represents a good basis for development of new Law on amendments to the Law on Enterprises of FBiH.
