Societe Generale Bank President of the Executive Board Becomes New Serbia FIC President

The Foreign Investors Council announced changes in its management, triggered by promotion of FIC officials within their companies. Association has the new leader and changed representation in the Board of Directors. At the same time, FIC will continue to pursue the same policy of advocating for simplified and more favourable business conditions. Frederic Coin, President of the Executive Board of the Societe Generale Bank Serbia, became the new President of the Foreign Investors Council, succeeding Costin Borc who left to manage Lafarge company in Romania. Under Borc’s strategic guidance, the FIC further deepened the dialogue with relevant stakeholders, diligently and consistently advocating for improvement of the business climate.  

Srdjan Lazovic, Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs CEFTA Region at British American Tobacco, became FIC Vice President Substitute, succeeding Goran Pitic who ceased to represent Societe Generale Bank in the FIC. Gabor Bekefi, CEO of Carlsberg South East Europe, continues to hold the post of FIC Vice President as spokesperson of the Association.
Dimitrije Knjeginjic, new CEO of Lafarge Serbia, became a new representative of the company in the FIC Board of Directors.
Other members of the Board of Directors include Senior Vice President of Direct Procurement Synergies and Private Brand for Southeast Europe and Delhaize Serbia David Vander Schueren, CEO of FIAT Automobili Srbija Antonio Cesare Ferrara, President of Henkel Serbia Christoph Till, Commercial Director of PepsiCo Western Balkans Michalis Orfanoudakis and CEO of Telenor Ove Fredheim.
Above changes were conducted through election process within the FIC Board of Directors and come several months ahead of regular elections for the new Board of Directors, planned for end this year.
