Branimir Muidza – President

General Manager of the Heidelberg CementGroup in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia

Mr. Branimir Muidza is Country General Manager at Heidelberg Cement Group, Kakanj cement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Chairman of Supervisory Board TBG BH. For the last seven years he has been present at the company in various managing roles. Prior to joining Heidelberg Cement Group, Mr. Muidza was a Broker agent and Analyst with Croatian company Flacius Vrijednosnice (Securities) d.o.o. for three years. He has also ran the company Financije i Racunovodstvo d.o.o. in Croatia. He holds B.A. degree in Finance from University of the Economy and the Tourism, Rijeka, Pula, Croatia. Mr Muidza is Licensed Broker Agent for Trading Securities in Croatia.

Mr Muidza has successfully completed various career and management developmental programs organized by Business School St. Gallen, Harvard and Management Center Europe; and within the HeidelbergCement Group such as: Senior Management Development Program delivered by INSEAD, CEE Management Development Program and HC Executive Development Program.

He is a Board member of the Association for promotion of German - BiH business affairs and a member of Advisory Board of the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Economics. Mr. Muidza was elected as Business-man of the year in BiH for 2006 and 2007. In addition, he was SAP Project leader in 2001, 1st SAP implementation ever in BiH.

Manuela Naessl – Vice President

Head of EBRD’s office in BiH

Manuela is Head of Office for Bosnia & Herzegovina at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since August 2019. She has over fifteen years’ experience in development banking with a focus on the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Previously, Manuela was based in London, holding positions as Associate Director Policy & Partnerships, Advisor to the VP and Principal Banker in the Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure Business Group. In these roles she worked on project finance and public sector loans in Egypt, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Mongolia and coordinated the Bank’s €900m refugee response plan, with investments in Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon. She also led strategic policy reform engagements with Governments in the region and established new donor partnerships.

Manuela started her career as economist for the British Government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change and later on worked at the World Bank’s South Asia Energy Department. A German national, she holds a Master in International Economics and an MBA from London Business School.

Bojana Skrobic-Omerovic – Vice President

Founder of Networks INT Sarajevo

was born on September 10th, 1980 in Tuzla, where she finished high school. By profession she is a lawyer graduated from Law School of University of Sarajevo. Currently she is enrolled in graduate studies in the field of international law.

Her career began during her studies, when she worked for the Council of Ministers on the project of making development strategies to combat poverty, that made her learn a lot about the economy. After that, a job at the World Bank as an adviser for youth issues within the education and employment, and eventually she taking over the social programs and projects financing the NGO sector in BiH. In the meantime, she took the step into the private sector as well, establishing company for marketing and events New Age where she worked as a CEO.

For many years she was the director of FIC - Foreign Investors Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina and attended a series of prestigious fellowship and study programs, such as IVLP professional exchange program of the US Embassy, the study of leadership at Oxford Keble University, etc.

She is currently engaged as founder of one of the biggest entrepreneurial and business centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Networks INT.

Mubera Brković - Treasurer

Tax and Legal Director at PwC Bosnia and Herzegovina

Ms. Brković is a Country Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax and Advisory doo, Sarajevo pwc. She leads the PwC tax and legal practice in BiH. She has more than 15 years of experience, extensive experience in tax due diligence, tax planning, and tax compliance.

She joined PwC in 2008 from the Indirect Tax Authority, where she held the position of Tax Inspector for large clients. She has advised many international businesses on the tax and related aspects of acquiring companies and expanding into the region, including leading teams in tax due diligence.

She is Team leader of FIC Working Group on Tax.

Amir Salkanović

President of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank

Mr. Amir Salkanović was born in Zenica, June 24, 1980. He graduated Economics from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus. Currently he is member of the Management board of ProCredit Bank BiH (since June 2016) in charge of the units: finance and accounting, back office operations and general administration. He has been working for the bank for more than 14 years holding various professional positions such as Head of internal audit and Operational risks specialist. In addition to formal education and professional expertise, Amir Salkanović graduated ProCredit internal educational schemes including ProCredit Bankers’ Academy and ProCredit Management Academy.

Benjamin Vukotic

Director of Zeraa Agriculture Investment

Mr. Benjamin Vukotić is the CEO of the companies Društvo za ulaganje u poljoprivredu "Zeraa Agriculture Investment” d.o.o. Sarajevo and Zeraa Agriculture Investment Management d.o.o. Sarajevo since March 2019 and CEO of the company "BOSNAPLOD" d.o.o. BRČKO DISTRIKT BiH since January 2018. He has more than 18 years of experience on managerial positions mainly in food production, processing and sales.

Previously, Mr. Vukotić worked as market research manager for the company KLAS d.d. Sarajevo from 2002, where he was promoted to marketing manager of retail division and then to the position of the export manager up to October 2008. After this date he was appointed as the executive director deputy of KLAS until 2013 when he was appointed to the position of the company executive director.

In 2014 and 2015 Mr. Vukotić worked as an executive director – deputy of CEO of Vegafruit d.o.o. Gradačac after which he was promoted to the position of the CEO of the same company.
Before joining the Zeraa group, in 2016 Mr. Vukotić worked as the executive director of the company "DOMOD" d.o.o. Sarajevo.

Mr. Vukotić joined the Zeraa Agriculture Investment group in July 2016 first as the sales manager of Bosnaplod, after which in October 2016 he was relocated to the position of head of sales and marketing of Zeraa Agriculture Investment Management. He performed the position of the Supervisory board member of the company Bosnaplod in the period between January and December 2017.

Simultaneously with performing the mentioned position in Zeraa Agriculture Investment Management in January 2018 Mr. Vukotić was appointed to the position of CEO of the company Bosnaplod.

As of March 2019 Mr. Vukotić performs the position of the CEO of the companies Društvo za ulaganje u poljoprivredu "Zeraa Agriculture Investment” d.o.o. Sarajevo and Zeraa Agriculture Investment Management d.o.o. Sarajevo, while remaining at the position of the CEO of Bosnaplod.

Furthermore Mr. Vukotić is appointed to the position of the Supervisory board member of the company Hepok d.o.o. Mostar as of January 2017.

Jasmina Lopicic

Executive Director for Finance at M:tel

Ms. Jasmina Lopicic has more than 10 years of experience in telecommunication sector in financing, accounting and budgeting issues. Since 2007, Ms Lopicic is Executive Director for Finance at Telekom Srpske.

In the period from 2001 till 2008 she held various positions at Telekom Srbije - Member of the Management Board, Member of the Supervisory Board, Director for Budgeting and Control Sector, Chief Officer of Budgeting and Control Division and Head of Operational Control Department. Prior to joining Telekom Srbija, Ms Lopicic was a Senior Economist at Public Enterprise PTT traffic "Srbija".

She holds B.S. in Economics from Belgrade University. In addition, she is completing post graduate studies at Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.

Ms. Lopicic is a re-elected member for the fourth term of the FIC Board of Directors.

Lana Sarajlic

Attorney at Law in cooperation with Wolf Theiss

Ms. Lana Sarajlić is an independent Attorney at Law in cooperation with Wolf Theiss with more 12 years of experience. She is a member of the Bar Association of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Regional Bar Association since 2013. Lana graduated from the University of Sarajevo Law School and holds an M.A. in European Studies from the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies of the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna.

Lana has advised local and international clients on all aspects of corporate, commercial and employment law, including work on number of large scale transactions that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past few years. Lana has extensive compliance related expertise, with a special focus on data protection.

She has also participated as lecturer and panelist at numerous conferences and seminars in the field of employment and personal data protection.

Lana is registered trademark representative and team leader of the ICT group with the Foreign Investors Council.

Nickolas Penny

Managing Director of Banjalučka pivara

spent the first ten years of his working career in major drinks companies. His first role was in Moet Hennessy group in France where he was involved in PR activities for major global brands such as Moet & Chandon Champagne and Hennessy Cognac in France. Subsequently he joined the Guinness Group Plc in 1990 and worked in a series of sales and marketing roles on Guinness beer and Johnnie Walker whisky, such as sales and marketing manger for Czech Republic and finally International Marketing manager for Johnnie Walker brands. In 1999, following the merger of Guinness Group with Grand Metropolitan to form Diageo, Mr. Penny left to pursue fast moving, smaller scale projects.

First among these was the creation of a market leading brewing business in Romania. This company Brewery holdings Romania grew from just 500,000 HL in 1998 to over 2.4 million hectolitres in three years via acquisition and organic growth, and became the market leader in the Romanian beer Industry ahead of the major international companies. Other projects undertaken between 200 and 2004 include mineral water, chocolate confectionary, bakeries, telecoms and distilling. In 2005 he moved back to London and spent a year working on major strategic consulting projects for companies such as South African Breweries, Coca Cola International, Jim Beam and William Grants

Nikhil Mehta

General Manager of the ArcelorMittal Zenica

Nikhil Mehta is CFO of ArcelorMittal Zenica. For last 8 years he has been present in variety of roles. As a CFO he also is in charge of IT systems of ArcelorMittal Zenica. Nikhil Mehta is a Chartered Accountant from Mumbai - India.

He has total work experience of 18 years in various industries which includes, working as finance & commercial manager for 10 years of which 3 years with indenting/supply & servicing of laboratory instruments and 5 years with Aluminium Industry in MOBASA Kenya (Kenya Aluminium Rolling Mills), 2 years in Voltas Ltd (Tata Group of Companies) as finance & commercial manager before joining ArcelorMittal.

Nikhil Mehta has played a key role in implementation of SAP in ArcelorMittal Zenica. He has a good knowledge of aluminium & steel making process. His expertise includes cost controlling & reduction, cash flow & working capital management, SOX compliance, liasoning with government authorities, banks & financial institutes for banking products like project financing, factoring, etc. Presently he is also leading the Power Plant Project which is going to be a new joint venture company in Zenica.

Ranko Markus

Director of GOPA Representative Office in BiH

doctor of economic sciences with a special interest in the labor market, development policy and investments, has 15 years of working experience. He works as a Director of GOPA mbH, a representative office in BiH since October 2008 and is the head of the Youth Employment Project (YEP) since October 2013.

Before this engagement, he worked at the London School of Economics Enterprise, as Economic Development Advisor, EuroConsultants from Thessaloniki, as a Foreign Direct Investment and UNDP Country Director in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the head of the Municipal Development Planning Team.

Stevan Dimitrijevic

Partner at Law Office Dimitrijević & Partners

Stevan’s particular areas of expertise include dispute resolution before the courts and international arbitration; M&A and general corporate; bankruptcy and competition. He advises clients in all aspects of legal structuring of their business in the country and in cross border formations. Industries: energy and infrastructure, mining, telecom and media.

Stevan is also a council member of the European Forum of IBA. He has just received a jubilee award from the Law Faculty in Banjaluka, Republic of Srpska, for his contribution to legal profession in the country. Stevan is serving as the member of the Board of FIC for more than a decade.

Stjepan Kumric

General Manager of Fabrika cementa Lukavac

has spent most of his twenty years’ work experience in the cement industry, holding different management positions in the field of sales and marketing.

He is currently holding the position of the General Manager of Fabrika cementa Lukavac d.d - a member of the Asamer Baustoffe AG group from Austria – which also includes in its structure two concrete plants in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, as well as a cement sales company in Croatia.

Stjepan Kumric is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the limestone mine Vijenac, as well as member of the Supervisory Board of CEMMAC a.s cement factory, Slovakia.

In addition to numerous professional education and trainings, his academic education was upgraded by completing the MBA study program at Limak - Austrian Busniess School Linz, Austria.

Valentin Ilievski

Senior Vice President of Messer Group in Southeastern Europe

Mr. Valentin Ilievski, CEO of Messer BH Gas, Mechanical Engineering, was born on October 16th 1968 in Kumanovo / Macedonia, as a German with Macedonian roots, he is married and has three children. For many years he lived and worked in Germany, the Netherlands and China. In his productive and successful management career he has gained many years of international experience in leading companies in the machinery industry.

He specialized in the strategic reorganization and development of enterprises. Since October 2008 he has been CEO of Messer BH Gas d.o.o and Messer Tehnoplin d.o.o. in BiH. Ilievski is Manager of the Year 2009, 2011 and 2012, awarded for large business operations in BiH by Independent Agency for Selection and Manager Promotion. In 2015 he was elected manager of a decade in BiH.
