Become a Member


Thank you for your interest in joining the FIC.

The FIC provides three different types of membership:

Principal membership - Principal member can be any legal entity organized and existing in accordance to the law of BiH in which one or more entities organized under the laws of a country other than BiH have a 10% interest in the capital of such company. Each Principal Member has one vote in the General Assembly of the Council.

The Principal Members have the right to:
• vote in the General Assembly of the FIC,
• elect and be elected to the executive bodies of the FIC;
• be informed of the activities of the FIC and of its accounts,
• be eligible for services provided by the FIC,
• exercise other rights in accordance with Statute and the decisions of the General Assembly of the FIC.

The annual Principal membership fee is KM 2,500 (cca EUR 1,250).


Associate membership – Associate member can be a local professional company / legal entity that does not meet the criteria for a Principal member, but is the resident in BiH and engaged in international trade in goods or services which sympathize, with the objectives of the FIC and therefore may be accepted as an Associate member.
Associate member does not have a vote in the General Assembly of the FIC unless decided otherwise by the General Assembly of the FIC. Associate member has the right to participate in the discussions, to advance proposals and to raise issues for discussion. Associate Members may avail in the activities of the FIC on an equal basis together with Principal Members.

The Associate Members have the right to:
• be elected to the executive bodies of the FIC;
• be informed of the activities of the FIC and of its accounts;
• be eligible for services provided by the FIC;
• exercise other rights in accordance with Statute and the decisions of the General Assembly of the Council;

The annual Associate membership fee is KM 2,500 (cca EUR 1.250)


Honorary memberships are intended for local and foreign individuals and/or organizations (otherwise non-members) that have made significant contribution to the FIC.

• through its' active participation in the respective Working Groups create a constituency for a change;
• to suggest and advocate for changes in respective industry;
